Joe McQuany was also the founder of the Kelly Foundation. Through which he published several recovery books, workbooks, and his own recovery model “Recovery Dynamics”. His books and treatment modalities are still used around the world today. Joe was also a co-founder of the Wolfe Street Foundation in 1986. A Little Rock Non-profit “Club House” used to provide a safe place for 12 step recovery meetings and provide education to the public about the treatment of alcoholism and substance abuse. Joe was very well known locally and nationally for his “Chalk Talk” videos explaining alcoholism and addiction on the chalk board. Joe was known around the world by the AA community for his “Joe and Charlie, The Big Book Comes Alive” talks.
