How Residential Treatment Works

What to Expect from Treatment

Each client will see a psychiatrist the day they are admitted and will be assigned a counselor for individual sessions each week.

Each will attend 5-6 hours of group therapy/therapeutic activities each day with our licensed drug and alcohol counselors.

Each will attend local AA/NA meetings and have meetings brought to them.

Each will create a treatment plan with their counselor upon arrival and our discharge planner will start working on a tailored aftercare plan for when they discharge.

Dual-Diagnosis Addiction Treatment

We are a dual diagnosis treatment center. That means that we understand that many of our clients struggle with mental health problems – and that those don’t go away when you get clean and sober. We use therapy – and sometimes medication – to treat these underlying issues.

We use holistic evidence-based treatments to treat the mind, body, and spirit.
We use a variety of teaching tools, including Living in Balance, Seeking Safety and Joe McQuany’s, The Steps We Took.
Our on-site chef prepares delicious healthy meals. We always have fresh fruit available to our clients.
Clients explore mindfulness activities such as meditation, and yoga.
Recovery can be fun! Clients learn to live life without substances during outings and activities.

Clients can earn more privileges and outings each week through our levels program.
Outings may include workouts at the Jim Daly Fitness center, rock climbing at the Little Rock Climbing Center, and more.

What Happens After Rehab?

Your stay with us is just the beginning, and we emphasize the importance of continuing care. From the start, our discharge planner works with clients to build a tailored aftercare plan to fit their needs. We also offer a continuing care group each week, where providers from different IOPS, sober living homes, employers, trade schools, and even colleges come connect with our clients about services that are available to them after they leave.
